Anyway, a dead hard drive lost that data. But IIRC the OC9 is in the 20+ Cus and weighs about 6G and that put my arm well under 10. My resonance is around just over After I got my new cart, the soundstage wasn't quite right. Everything was a bit left. My room is not symmetrical so I just kind of lived with it.

I HAVE NOT GOT A SINGLE
I checked the free space on my hard drive, My Computer said 483mb (this is before I downloaded 4.01). Since I've installed and rebooted, My Computer says I have 513mb. This seems very odd to me. I know I haven't uninstalled any programs, or deleted any HUGE temporary files. Anyone else had this experience?

Am I ready to go Mac-only?
I haven't read the rest of the responses and I'm late to the party, but I lost the motherboard in my laptop when I worked for The Boys, and bought a hard drive case for $14 from Fry's. Basically, took the drive out of the old machine and turned it into a postable external to use with the new one. After I got my

OT: Computer finally back up
I never actually copied the .exe file onto my hard drive - I simply double clicked on the e-mail attachment to execute it (presumably it copies it temporarily to c:/windows/temp or wherever and then deletes it again after execution) and there is no file called fish.exe anywhere on my hard drive. So have I got a

When I tried to reboot I got a message about a second partition, which I did not have on the hard drive. I assumed scandisk would run automatically and things would straighten out. I posted here to ask whether I should uninstall IE 5.0, but I got no replies in the time frame (and there are still no replies to this question). The mini isn’t expandable enough: I need at least 500GB hard drive space and 2GB RAM, and minis just don’t have that sort of spec. On my MacBook I use Thunderbird for news, so could manage with that instead of Agent, and if I got my phone working then Mail/iCal would replace Outlook, but I’m yet to find a

replacing hard disk: This copy of windows must be activated:Stuck
When my Win 98 crashed I rebooted using my emergency boot floppy. When I tried to re-install Win98 (or tried to upgrade to Win ME), I could not for the following reason: The boot process created a new, small (8 MB) drive and mapped it to "C:"; then it remapped my original C: drive (that is, my hard drive) to D:.

The hard drive is made by WD. Should have made myself clearer. Dish uses one GENERIC driver, and it won't work on every drive. You simply may get lucky, or not. I got my butt reamed out long ago when I first dared mention there will be many drives that simply will not work, but time is proving I was right.
